Omschrijving

Renal & Oxalate complete dieetvoeding is speciaal afgestemd op de behoefte van honden met chronisch nierfalen. Het bevat een beperkt gehalte aan eiwitten en minder fosfor om belasting van de nieren te beperken. De gebruikte eiwitten zijn van hoge kwaliteit. Daarnaast bevat Renal & Oxalate extra veel energie, zodat de hond bij een verminderde eetlust een kleinere hoeveelheid hoeft te eten om toch in de dagelijkse energiebehoefte te voorzien.Renal & Oxalate dieetvoeding is eveneens speciaal afgestemd om de vorming van calciumoxalaatkristallen te verminderen. Het gebruik van kaliumcitraat heeft een urine pH verhogend effect, wat de uitscheiding van calcium in de urine vermindert. Daarnaast zorgt uitscheiding van citraat in de urine voor binding van calcium. Renal & Oxalate bevat ruim voldoende vitamine B6, zodat de kans op oxalaatvorming als gevolg van een vitamine B6 tekort wordt voorkomen.
